2024-2025 Metro Teams

Metro Teams are FULL for the Winter Season

Registration for the Spring Season will open on January 6th

NYC Juniors "Metro" teams are designed for 4th-8th grade athletes looking for a volleyball team experience without the commitment of traveling teams. Metro teams are also a good option for young players aspiring to play on a traveling team in the future.

Weeknight practices will consist of fundamental skill training - serving, passing, setting, hitting
Sundays will be "play days" where teams will compete in modified games
Each season will culminate in a mini tournament

No tryout required. Teams will be formed as part of the training process.

Winter Season: November 10th - Feb. 9th*

Winter registration opens Oct. 1st

Spring Season: Feb. 25th - May 18th*

Spring registration open Jan. 6th

*No training on major holidays or school breaks

Cost: $1,200 per 10-week season

Limited financial aid is available by application

*7th graders born after 7/1/2012 can choose to play 13U/14U to be with their grade-level peers
